Dutch listings normally count the living room as a room. A home described as ‘2 kamers’ therefore usually has one living room and one bedroom.

For a 1+1 home, start with one bedroom or two rooms. For a 2+1 home, start with two bedrooms or three rooms. Always confirm the floor plan and the listing text at the original source.
